ITCH ASSIST PINE TAR ESSENTIAL OIL SOAP

All natural soap made with 10% pine tar specifically designed to help soothe the symptoms of eczema, psoriasis and dry, flaky skin. Scented with lavender, tea tree and cedarwood essential oils.

Instead of using distilled water for the liquid in this recipe, we use organic aloe vera juice. Since dairy milk can cause flare-ups, we use our homemade oat milk and add extra coconut milk for a luxurious, creamy lather.  We use a generous helping of colloidal oats for it's soothing and calming properties and add organic Manuka honey for it's antibacterial and healing benefits. 

We chose essential oils that are said to help with itch and healing. The natural smokey scent of the pine tar mixed with this blend is quite refreshing. 

ABOUT OUR SOAPS:

OMS uses premium base oils, butters, oats, and clays to give it a creamy, silky feel.  Most of our soaps contain fresh cream, goatmilk, buttermilk and coconut milk powders. We use ingredients that promote a moisturizing bar with copious lather for a luxurious bathing experience. Some of our soap recipes are tweaked to be specifically designed for problematic skin such as eczema acne-prone, extremely dry, and sensitive skin. OMS does not make medical claims about our products but we hope the ingredients we've chosen prove to be beneficial to your skin.

Our 5 ounce bars are handmade in small batches. Their artistic nature will result in slight variations of colors, heights, and weights from soap to soap.
